Have a look at the 'Will you' page

The most energetic saxophonist ever with the talent of playing the most sensitive and emotional melodies as well as the wildest ones. He added his extra special tunes to Hazel O'Connor's legendary "coffe and tea" song making it even more unforgettable.

Wesley Magoogan was member of Hazel O'Connor's Megahype band in the early 80's. He played on the albums:

  • Breaking Glass, 1980,
  • Sons and Lovers, 1980,
  • Cover Plus, 1981
and later on Hazel's To Be Freed tour, which material was released on the CD:
  • Live...Over the Moon in 1993.

After Hazel (in the 80's) he joined 'The Beat' ('The English Beat' in USA).

Then played for many years with Billy Ocean.

Recorded 4 albums for Joan Armatrading.

Spent a long time in Los Angeles and Nashville writing for artistes such as Chaka Khan Brenda Russell etc.

His playing career ended when he had an accident with a large circular saw which resulted in his fingers being cut off. They were sewn back together but he only has one hand that works properly.

His special sax playing has influenced and inspired many saxophonists and musicians all around the world.
